UFC 127 was this weeked and I know it was discussed in earlier posts, but since the card sucked there is no need to really delve into what happened. Howvere, the one thing I feel that was more exciting than any of the actual fights, was the aftermath of Michael Bisping...he's a douchebag. the guy gets credit for handling his opponent and beating him via TKO. Sounds good right? maybe so, but considering the fact that he knee'd him in the head while he was down!!! this is not only a violation of rules, but just bad sportsmanship, people can justify that emotions take over, adrenaline, whatever they say - you are porfessionals and are expected to conduct yourself and follow rules as a professional.
i for one would say that they should have a rematch; Rivera was on the mat for a while trying to collect himself to keep fighting after the knee. Did he lose reasonably or did that knee have alot of signifigance? I don't know - what I do know is Bisping is wrng. Besides the fact he cheats, he is also a jerk. The guy walks over to rivera's corner and spits on them. Dana White is saying he is in big trouble and there are talks beginning of fines/ suspensions. Check the vid below for what I mean:
